Ne:KALP began its journey as a group of volunteers bringing a sack of rice each from their homes in order to donate to people affected by the great earthquake that struck a devastating loss of lives and property across various district of Nepal on April, 2015. As the collective gained momentum and support from the Nepali diaspora spread across the world grew, self-motivated volunteers relentlessly engaged themselves in providing relief material to over 25 villages in 4 districts in a period of 5 weeks. Since then it has partnered with various international organisations and students body, and, undertaken several small scale projects that have continued to assist in relief and rebuilding processes across the country.
